The process of making bespoke hand drawn films uses a plethora of all my favourite skills. Drawing, photographing, painting, stop motion, video editing, deep listening, and collaboration.

Authenticity is my passion, when a story is told with truth, reverence and passion, people listen

My job is to listen to what you would like to creaser, like really listen, not just to your words but to your emotions, intent and desires.

Once I have all this I can start to create a visual story that really represents you and the story you are telling.

Its a partnership, the more you can trust me and share your authenticity with me, the more I can share your authenticity with the world in a visual representation that will really touch your audience.

Step 1.

The collaboration of creating your story begins with our first meeting, we can do this face-to face, via zoom, or on a call.

Being a visual person i’d love to see your face as you share your vision with me but thats up to you!

 

Step 2

each background is painted with high quality Daniel Smith watercolour paints on archival 300 gsm watercolour paper

The colours are chosen intuitively and deliberately to represent your story.

 

Step 3.

the hand drawn film is created by drawing with charcoal on the watercolour background. Lots of hours of drawing, rubbing out and capturing the movement that makes your story come to life.

 

Step 4.

In a original stop motion technique, my hand drawn animated films are created using thousands of photos capturing the change as your story comes to life

 

Step 5.

Your story is creating by each image still being added to the software and the timing and background adjusted to bring your story to life, in a hand drawn animated film.
